Dan // January 6, 2009 at 9:25 am
Ok I’ve been watching Arnel’s workouts for some months and I trully believe that’s possible “for some people” to have “visible” six pack abs …. but this is not for everybody (what includes me … unfortunately). I can’t get rid of a thick skim (I believe that’s fat) that cover my abs, no matter what I do … dieting …. interval training ….. and so on. I believe that most of the guys, usually the models that you see on the web (this doesn’t include Arnel) are using substances such as “growing hormons” to acquire six pack.
Most of the “mortals” like me achieve a “plateau” so it’s impossible to go ahead and see the abdominal muscles anyway …..
So this is my word …. it’s not to let you down …. I think Arnel’s job is increasingly motivating
Regards
Daniel

Arnel Ricafranca, you’re sure is the best!
I’m a great fan of your business, you helped me and my friends a lot!
You’re not like Ryan Lee or Virgil Aponte, sure they’re good too, but you’re the best!
And you don’t hire for your business!
No packs, no abs?

Hi
Whenever I hear and read materials about fat burning, but the question is who is … And thin people? because they do not deserve attention?
Although there are many people above the normal weight, there are still those that are below normal weight, as is my case. (Arnel not forget about us!!!)
My name is Éderson, i have 22 years old, I got 136.68 pounds (Here in Brazil the measures are different, in Brazil we use kilograms (kg), or i have 62KG), and my height is 1.86 meters.
font: http://www.convertworld.com/
Here we use to see if our ideal weight is the Body Mass Index (IMC) Body Mass Index (IMC or BMI) is a measure of the degree of obesity of a person. Through the calculation of BMI tells you if someone is above or below the parameters of ideal weight for their height.
My BMI is:
BMI = 62 ÷ 1,86²
BMI = 62 ÷ 2,78
BMI = 17,9
the Result is:
You are below your ideal weight. Being in this situation can be as detrimental to you as being above the weight.
It is recommended that you seek to return to normal weight and thus avoid complications related to low birth weight. Consult a doctor or nutritionist.
In other words, I am a thin person and I want to fatten.
But … What to eat? which diet do? I know a good meal every day and exercises help in a muscle development and weight gain.
I appreciate that.

Hello Arnel,
great work but too fast to take note!, The name of each excercices in sequence was to fast to recognise. i would like to make my list to remember when a dont have my Pc with me.
Puting names of each movements more slowly to write it all helping me to make my own list and helping to remember this recomendation would make more sence for me, i Know your videos and Movements but not by name. That is why this film make sence running slowly. it would be longer but helpfull. OR do you send the list of the Excersices in hier? . Wishing you a Great Year 09 getting some more SixPacks with your Help.

George Modilevsky // January 6, 2009 at 2:07 pm
Hi there !
Maybe nobody understood the point of showing all kinds of exercises together.
Maybe, it would be convenient to continue the motivation by now showing a set of 10 exercises from those shown in the video. Otherwise, there is only critics to it and no continuance. I did not understand why showing a video like this if there is no other purpose but proposing that in a very little space one could actually become muscled.
If I were you, I’d set mirrors on all the walls. It looks like a very sad place to work out at. At least, I’d set huge posters showing the six-pack abs and this would motivate us more.
By the way, those of us who cannot get six-pack abs with these routines are those who quit quickly.
That is exactly what we need to avoid. Not quitting ( ever ) is the only way to achieve the goal : Six-Pack Abs…..which anyone could get.
Muchos saludos desde México.

you probably won’t read this but
A small comment for those intrested
BMI doesn’t say a thing about health.
You can weigh 100kg and be 180cm tall or 70kg and 190cm tall. BMI is old information from the 19th century and should be treated as such.
Ben // January 6, 2009 at 7:22 pm
I am not amused.
No I am really =]
James // January 6, 2009 at 7:29 pm
Hey Dan, you said you don’t think that anyone can get six pack abs? I would like to respectfully disagree. I think unless that a person was moderatly obese to begin with, you can get abs. The only reason for this is due to extra skin and the elasticity of it. If you would like help, contact me and I would be glad to help you. I’m a personal trainer and I also fight MMA. I do a lot of nutrition information although I’m not certified, and for good reason. Most good nutrition plans ideal to getting lean and healthy are not yet realized by most sports medicine corporations. Email me @ jamesfcash@gmail.com
jim c // January 6, 2009 at 7:54 pm
I don’t have any weights at home and though I do attend a gym, it is mostly for my cardio and interval work.
to Mr Str.
I’m not sure what point you were trying to get to, but I do agree on your last statement and will add that BMI is absolute bunk, it is SO INACCURATE, (8-9% difference in BF value in my case) so as to not merit any mention by professionals.

Hey Arnel,
This is great, I did the 4 week holiday workout ( I didn’t get the results that you had, but I did make progress and I am stronger). Then I started to work backwards from week 4 workout on week 5. I plan on going from week 4 to 1, which would be a 8 week workout plan. Now my question to you is if I’m doing the workout plan with the weights 3 times a week can I I incorporate one of you other workout plans during the other days of the week? Will that work load be too much on my muscles and not allow them to rest enough?

Fernando // January 7, 2009 at 1:27 am
With that speed, we can have a sik pack in six seconds. Why don’t you do something real a let us know what shit are you smoking to make us believe that abs can be done that fast. Seen your ABS is a discipline that take at least one year, of course if you are not on drugs or steroids or something similar. So keep your lies for yourself because a person who does some research and workout everyday know that “six pack” is a lot of work, discipline and time.
Jeff // January 7, 2009 at 1:52 am
I have a better more symmetrical six pack than that and i maybe only work abs a couple of days a week. Its all about the right diet i.e. eating mainly raw foods for months at a time works best for me

Had I just fallen out of a barrel of monkeys and hit my head on the pointed clog of a troll I would have believed this was possible. Although, it was a clever way to get people to the site to watch the video.
In this day and age; everyone (including myself) wants a get fit quick remedy, because we want it to fall off at the speed of light when we didn’t put it on that fast! You could have actually spared us the torture and just told us to go work our lazy “arses” off! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

a lot of those exercises can be done out of a gym / weight environment. I like the idea of the exercise balls to work on your core stability. Have you ever tried other things to work balance and maybe just tone. Because sometimes i feel that a nice body is not just these amazingly defined 6 packs. A lot of the time they look unnatural and just over worked. I am all for doing what you want to do in a gym / whilst playing sports or taking part in windsurfing water skiing etc. You will still gain strength balance and power and look good. And chicks tend to like surfers a bit more than gym monkeys
sarsen56 // January 7, 2009 at 11:22 pm
Eat – then burn it off in the gym, how come nobody thinks it’s any more then a wasteful contribution to global warming? Guys with that amount of energy could make a real contribution – in some more socially useful area where their physical exertions could be used more creatively.

I’m in high school right now and I have had some of the problems that some people here are having like not being able to get rid of fat. Although this might not be the correct (as in healthy) way to do this but it works. Throughout the year I would have wrestling meet about 3 times a week. In order to ” make weight” I would have to go periods of about 18 hours without eating. By the end of my freshman year I had dropped from 14% body fat to 7% and put on a lot of muscle. Remember while dieting to exercise so you maintain your muscle level while loosing fat.
